Open to the public

Tuesday and Thursday (except public holidays)
From 9.30 am – 1.00 pm

Closed to the public

• Summer: 20 July – 15 September inclusive
• Winter: 24 December – 7 January inclusive

N.B.

A form must be filled in at the beginning of each day of consultation. On this form should be stated: personal details, reason and subject of study, documents to be consulted.

The Archives do not provide a photocopying or copying service.

In the case of publication, the source "Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma, Archivio storico a Palazzo Altemps" must be cited. A copy of the publication must also be held in the Archives.

The management reserves the right to temporarily withdraw items from public consultation for the purposes of inventory or restoration work.
